Community Senior Expo
Thursday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the West Shore YMCA, 410 Fallowfield Road in Hampden Township
My office is going to be an exhibitor at Sen. Dawn Keefer’s (R-31) first community senior expo for residents of our House and Senate districts. The expo will feature numerous resources, including health information, wellness services and educational opportunities.
Fall Document Shredding Event
Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5-7 p.m., at the Hampden Township pool parking lot, 5001 Hampden Park Drive in Mechanicsburg
Safely and securely shred documents containing sensitive information. We will have two shredding trucks on-site to facilitate quicker services.

Car Seat Safety Check and Damaged License Plate Replacement Event
Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4-7 p.m., at Platinum Mitsubishi, 6039 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg
National Child Passenger Safety Week is Sept. 20-26. Certified car seat technicians will be on-site to ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed. Police will also be available to facilitate damaged license plate replacements. These services are provided at no cost to the community.

Older and Wiser Seminar
Thursday, Oct. 1, from 9-10:30 a.m., at Mechanicsburg Place Senior Center, 97 W. Portland St., Mechanicsburg
Mid Penn Legal Services will lead a seminar educating attendees on the protection offered by power of attorney (POA) arrangements. Living wills, wills and health care POAs will also briefly be discussed.

Fall Fair Senior Expo
Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Carlisle Expo Center, 100 K St. in Carlisle
I am partnering with Rep. Barb Gleim (R-199) to host a senior expo for residents of our legislative districts. Numerous government and community resource providers will be in attendance. Light refreshments will be provided.

Annual First Responders Recognition
Wednesday, Oct. 28, at first responder companies in the 88th District
National First Responders Day is Wednesday, Oct. 28. As I have in the past, I will be recognizing our local police, firefighters and EMS providers for all they do to keep our communities safe. We appreciate your service and sacrifice, as well as your family’s support.
