Fall Document Shredding Event
Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5-7 p.m., at the Hampden Township Pool parking lot, 5001 Hampden Park Drive in Mechanicsburg
Safely and securely shred documents containing sensitive information, like bank account numbers.
There is a limit of four boxes per household. No businesses, please. The shredder can handle staples, but please remove paperclips and binder clips in advance.

Free Car Seat Safety Check and Damaged License Plate Replacement Event
Thursday, Sept. 25, from 4-7 p.m., at Platinum Mitsubishi, 6039 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg
Sept. 21-27 is National Child Passenger Safety Week. Certified car seat technicians will be on-site to ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed. Police will also be available to facilitate damaged license plate replacements. These services are provided at no cost to the community.
License plates eligible for replacement include those that are blistered, peeling or discolored with at least one number or letter unreadable from over 50 feet away. Bring your vehicle with the affected plate attached as well as your current registration card and unexpired driver’s license. An officer will determine whether your plate is eligible for replacement and my office will assist you in filing the appropriate form with PennDOT.

Thursday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Mechanicsburg Place Senior Center, 97 W. Portland St. in Mechanicsburg
Thursday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon, at West Shore Senior Center, 122 Geary Avenue in New Cumberland.
To expand the reach of our state services, my district office will set up at local senior centers to assist attendees with state-related issues. My office can facilitate Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications and check for unclaimed property.

Annual First Responders Recognition
Thursday, Oct. 23 At first responder companies in the 88th District
National First Responders Day is Tuesday, Oct. 28. As I have in the past, I will be recognizing our local police, firefighters and EMS providers for all they do to keep our communities safe. We are blessed by your service, thankful for your family’s support and appreciate your sacrifice!
Tag and Wag Dog Licensing Event
December – Date, time and location to be determined
Pennsylvania State Dog Law requires all dogs 3 months and older to be properly licensed every calendar year in the county they reside. The Cumberland County Treasurer’s Office will facilitate dog licensing applications at this event.

Legislative Open House
Thursday, Dec. 11, from 4-7 p.m., at my district office, 2929 Gettysburg Road in Lower Allen Township
Residents of the 88th District are invited to drop by my district office for an open house to celebrate the holiday season. Light refreshments will be provided.
