Delozier to Host Job and Government Services Fair for 88th District Residents

HARRISBURG—Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) invites residents of the 88th Legislative District to her upcoming Job and Government Services Fair, a free event for local employers, job seekers and state agencies to connect over opportunities and state services. 

The Job and Government Services Fair will be held Thursday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mechanicsburg First Church of God Community Center, located at 201 E. Green St. in Mechanicsburg.

“I am excited to partner with local employers and state agency officials to highlight opportunities and services in our community,” said Delozier. “This event will serve as a one-stop shop for job seekers and constituents who need help obtaining state services, like those offered by the Department of Aging, Treasury and more. I am looking forward to a great day of networking among community members.”

Some of the services provided by the state agencies in attendance include assistance with prescriptions though the PACE and PACENET programs, help looking up unclaimed property, assistance with veterans benefits, as well as information on the most recent Clean Slate law and its impact on some individuals in search of employment.
