House Committee to Vote Legislation Rolling Back Wolf Restriction on Restaurants

WHAT: The House Commerce Committee, chaired by Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) will consider legislation that would raise from 25% to 50% the restriction on indoor seating capacity set by Gov. Tom Wolf for restaurants and event venues. In addition to House Bill 2832, the committee will vote House Bill 2615, which would create the Small Restaurant Grant Program to assist restaurants impacted by COVID-19. Both pieces of legislation have bipartisan support.
